Position Description

As an Advanced Procedure Specialist in the Philadelphia area, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Work from a focused quarterly sales plan specific to revenue growth expectations and exceed quota
  • Call on high volume surgical centers to promote our Gel technologies. Surgical approaches include Hand-Assisted Laparoscopy, Single Incision Surgery and Transanal Minimally Invasive Surgery (TAMIS)
  • Drive the interest and the adoption of our Gel technologies through targeting leaders within the medical community
  • Work closely with Surgical Residency and Fellowship programs in conjunction with community hospitals to provide an invaluable advanced laparoscopic training environment
  • Operate as an ambassador of the Applied Medical brand in competitive environments
  • Coordinate a cohesive plan through interaction with corporate accounts and Field implementation divisions.

Position Requirements

  • A B2B background and/or medical device sales experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and manage cross functional teams and activities
  • Must be able to travel routinely (up to 25% of the time) and manage expenses incurred while traveling
  • Proven goal oriented, self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial drive
  • Demonstrated performance record with clear documentation of success
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to travel to Southern California for a 3-week training class
  • 4 year degree
